Just thought I would share this great section of verses from the bible with you all...Paul wrote this to the Philippian people to encourage them with how to live. It really challenges me to change my attitude and the way I think...especially when I want to complain or say something I'm not supposed to say or forget to pray when things get tough...
"Rejoice in the Lord always, Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding ,will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren (I'm sure this includes sisters as well), whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me (Paul), these do, and the the God of peace will be with you."
such a sweet set of verses...doesn't it make you want to just find truth, nobility, virtue...all the great things listed and just focus on them in your life. I want to strive to pour everything into focusing on these things in me. I definitely have a lot of meditating to do...but I believe as believers in Christ, we can all attain a life as described by these verses. I pray mine will!!
Bless you all...
